Search and Rescue

Imagine that you are lost. It is cold and it is dark. Would you believe that a dog could help find you?

Dogs can be trained to help people in emergencies. These dogs are called Search-and-Rescue, or SAR, dogs. If police officers need help, the dogs often find clues. If people are lost, the dogs hunt for them.
