2 = I am not sure of the word’s meaning.

Sculpture of some Greek gods
People who are in stories are characters. Many times in Greek myths the characters are gods.
plot (plot) noun
King Midas
The plan or main storyline is called the plot. King Midas is a character in one Greek story. As part of the plot, everything he touches turns to gold.
content (kun-tent) adjective
A person who is content is happy. King Midas was not content even though he lived in a big castle.
greedy (grē-dē) adjective
To be greedy is to always want more. King Midas was greedy for more gold.
