Verb Tenses
The tense of a verb shows when the action happens.
| Tense | Tells | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Past | what happened earlier | The star Antares formed millions of years ago. |
| Present | what is happening now | It now shines with a bright orange light. |
| Future | what will happen later | Some day Antares is going to explode. It will turn into a supernova, or exploding star. |
