What does Moonshine want? Make a goal-and-outcome map for Sunny and Moonshine. Follow these steps.

  • 1 Draw a map like the one below.

  • 2 Read pages 4–8 of Sunny and Moonshine again. Write Moonshine’s goal in the top box.

  • 3 Read the rest of the book again. What happens when Moonshine tries to reach her goal? Write an event in each of the small boxes. Write what happens at the end of the story in the last box.

  • 4 Use your completed goal-and-outcome map to retell the story to a partner.
