Goal and Outcome Writers often tell about a goal, or something someone wanted to do. Then they tell about events, or what happens. Last, they tell if the goal was reached. This is called the outcome. As you read “Exploring Space,” use a diagram like the one below to keep track of the goal, the events, and the outcome.
