• Discuss With a group, discuss movies you’ve seen or books you’ve read where people have special talents. What were the characters’ talents? Did they always use them wisely? Explain.
• Role-Play Imagine you and a partner are each one of the key characters in each selection. Share your talent and how you used it wisely or unwisely.
• Interview Interview a partner about his or her most interesting talent. How could he or she put it to good use? List questions to ask and record the answers. Share your interview with the class.
