Throughout this unit, you have been thinking about how we come to the rescue of others. Choose one of these ways to explore the Guiding Question:
• Discuss With a group, discuss a time when you came to someone’s rescue or someone came to yours. Explain what happened and how the experience affected you.
• Role-Play Imagine that you and a partner are José from “The Challenge” and Aaron from “Zlateh the Goat.” Talk about your problems, how you tried to solve them, and whether you were successful.
• Draw Draw a comic strip for either José’s or Aaron’s problem. Show the problem, then show what the character did to try to solve it. Finally, show the outcome. Share your comic strip with a partner.
