Use Indefinite Pronouns

Use an indefinite pronoun when you are not talking about a specific person or thing.

  • • Some indefinite pronouns are always singular. They always need a singular verb that ends in -s.

    EXAMPLESEverybody hates the dragon.
    Nobody likes the dragon.
  • • Some indefinite pronouns are always plural. They always need aplural verb.

    EXAMPLEMany of the townspeople fear the dragon.

Say each sentence. Use the correct form of the verb.
