Use Adverbs

Adverbs are words that describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Adverbs can tell how, when, or where.

  • • Use an adverb to describe a verb. Many adverbs end in -ly.

    EXAMPLEThe animal suddenly makes verb a noise. (how)
