  • Discuss With a group, discuss the Guiding Question. What makes our environment so valuable? How can we solve its problems? Share your ideas with classmates and give examples from the selections to support them.

  • Role-Play Imagine that Howard Quigley and Mireya Mayor meet to talk about the Guiding Question. With a partner, role-play their discussion. To help you create the discussion, think of two questions they might ask each other.
