Myanmar is a country in Southeast Asia. People there are not allowed to express their opinions in public about the government or to vote for their own government.

In September of 2007, thousands of people marched in the streets of Myanmar. They protested peacefully against the government. The government arrested many people. Some people were beaten or even killed.

In my opinion, all people should have the freedom to say what they think about their government.
