San Antonio - Virginia Stille can’t decide on the right shade of lipstick. She doesn’t want anything too bright, but the color must be bright enough to show up on stage.
“What about this one, Mom?” she calls.
Mom approves, and Virginia puts on the lipstick. Just as she’s about to stand up, someone asks her to sing.
Now, that’s something Virginia is not indecisive about.
She begins slowly: “Rebozo, Rebozo.” Then she sings more quickly: “de Santa María.”
