Christopher Myers

Christopher Myers has been around storytellers his entire life. His grandfather was a great storyteller. His father, Walter Dean Myers, is an award-winning author.

Christopher Myers is a writer and an illustrator. He began by drawing pictures for his father’s books. Now he writes and illustrates his own stories. Myers says that he was different growing up. He wants kids to know that it’s OK to be different. He says, “The things that make you you are the things that you need to be proud of. [They] are the things … to be celebrated.”
