Draft
When you draft, you begin writing. Use the ideas you gathered in your detail chart to begin your draft. Write a paragraph.
Revise
When you revise a draft, you make your writing better. First, you need to know what a reader thinks of your work. Sadaf read her paper to a partner.
Then Sadaf knew she needed to make a change.
Lin wanted to bake something to sell at the bake sale. We couldn’t decide if we wanted to make a cake or brownies. 
The baker offered to help us.
She added a sentence to give more information.
Now follow these steps to revise your letter.
1 DECIDE WHAT TO CHANGE
Read to a partner. Ask your partner to tell what happened in your letter. See if they understood what you wrote. Do you need to add details to tell the whole story?
2 MARK YOUR CHANGES
