Coyote

The coyote is a desert animal. It is also found in mountains and on flat plains. It has fur and a long tail. The coyote is a member of the dog family. It hunts at night. When the sky looks as dark as oil, you may hear a few coyotes howl. From far away, the howling sounds like a sad song.
