4.–8. Work with a partner. Read the first new word. Make a sentence with the word. Then have your partner make a sentence with the same word. Take turns. Make as many sentences with each new word as you can.
9. Work with a partner. Write each new word on a card. Mix both sets of cards together. Turn them so the words are down. Then:

• Spell the words. Are they the same?
• If so, use the word in a sentence and keep the cards. If not, turn them over again.
• Take turns. The player with more cards at the end wins.
