Myths

Many ancient Greek stories were myths. Some myths explain how or why things happened in the world. These myths often used Greek gods as characters. The gods had many powers and were able to do amazing things.

Other myths had plots that taught lessons about how to act. For example, one myth is about a rich king whose greed robs him of what he has.
