Use Adverbs

Adverbs are words that describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Adverbs can tell how, when, and where.

  • • Use an adverb to describe a verb. Adverbs often end in -ly.

    EXAMPLEThe storm came verb suddenly.
