Focus on Genre: Biographical Fiction

Biographical fiction is based on real events in the life of a real person or the combined experiences of many people. The writer may write from the point of view of one of the people to make the writing seem more realistic. This is called first-person point of view.

The events in biographical fiction are usually written in chronological order.
