Everyone has ideas and opinions. How do you think this photo shows a dream or a goal? What’s your opinion about it?

Then use your chart to tell a partner what you think. Trade roles.

Use Verbs

Think about the verbs you will use when you express your ideas and opinions. The verbs you use need to agree with the subjects of your sentences.

Remember to add -s to the verb if the subject is singular.

Singular subject:The girl stares at the skyscraper. I think she has a goal.
Plural subject:Many people work in the building. I think it’s in a big city.
