A pronoun refers to a noun. You can use pronouns in the subject or the predicate of a sentence.
Subject Pronouns | I | you | he | she | it | we | you | they |
Object Pronouns | me | you | him | her | it | us | you | them |
Many statements follow the pattern:
subject verb object
She | likes | them. |
subject | verb | object |
In questions, the subject often comes after the first word of the sentence.
Do | they | like | her? |
subject | verb | object |
