Give and Follow Directions 
Look at the photograph and listen to the directions. Follow along carefully to understand each step.
In our state, citizens use electronic voting machines to cast their ballots.
How do I use the machine?
1. First, enter the voting machine booth.
2. Then, read each item that you are voting on.
3. Next, press the X next to the candidate or item you wish to select. The X will light up.
4. To change a selection, press the button next to the X that is lighted. The light will go out. Then make another selection.
5. To write in a candidate’s name, press the WRITE–IN button. Then use the keypad at the bottom of the machine to enter the person’s name, one letter at a time.
6. Review all your selections after you make your choices. Changes can only be made before you press the large VOTE button.
7. Finally, press the large VOTE button to cast your ballot.
8. Exit the voting machine booth.
