On the Beach

Sailboats sail along the bay
As the sunset ends the day.
Little crabs and starfish play
In the pools along the shore.
Seaweed gathers on the beach.
As the seagulls dive and soar,
Endless waves will sweep the sand
With a whisper or a roar.
The high tide and the low tide
Bring sea gifts to my door.
