A complete sentence has a subject and a predicate.
All people subject drink water. predicate
To find the subject in a sentence, ask yourself: Whom or what is the sentence about? The sentence above is about people.
The complete subject includes all the words that tell about the subject. The most important word in the complete subject is usually a noun.

The complete predicate often tells what the subject does. The verb shows the action.
EXAMPLE | All people drink predicate water. |
Say each group of words. Add a subject with a noun, or add a predicate that tells what the subject does. Then say the complete sentence.
