A verb must always agree with its subject. Study the forms of the verbs be, have, and do. Use the form of the verb that matches the subject.
Subject | Forms of Be | Forms of Have | Forms of Do |
I | am | have | do |
he, she, it | is | has | does |
we, you, they | are | have | do |
The subject of a sentence usually comes before the verb.
