Just Ok

We go to a concert. The band starts to play. The singer sings the first song. After the song, the audience claps wildly.

This is just OK because the writer uses only one adverb.

Better

We go to a concert downtown. The band starts to play loudly and clearly. The singer sings the first song perfectly. Immediately after the song, the audience claps wildly.

The extra adverbs add details. They tell where, when, and how things happen.

The curtain rises. Two actors stand in the middle of the stage. They begin to speak. They play their parts. The audience laughs. The play is great.It is called “Mister Monster”!
