Are stories really that important? Discuss your ideas with a group.
Remember that everyone can have different ideas. When you discuss ideas, you are just sharing what you think. Other people may agree or disagree.
When you discuss ideas, be sure to use the correct form of be and have.
In the Present: | I am a big fan of stories! Stories are important. I have a great book of fables. Each fable has a moral, or lesson. One moral is “There is always another side of the story.” |
In the Past: | When I was little, I had a book of stories. They were all scary. The book had scary pictures in it, too. I had bad dreams from those stories! I was happy to give the book to my older cousin. |
