Use Verbs in the Past Tense

A past tense verb shows an action that already happened. For most verbs, add -ed to show past tense.

EXAMPLEI traveled to the fishing village yesterday.

Use special past tense forms with irregular verbs.

In the Present:I find good places to fish.
In the Past:I found the best place yesterday.

Some Irregular Verbs
