Someone gave my upstairs neighbor a drum set for his birthday. He has been practicing on those drums ever since, and the sounds coming through the ceiling are driving me crazy!

At first, he spent hours tapping a simple beat with one drum stick. It was quiet, so I didn’t mind too much.

Then he moved on to learning how to play the bass drum. He seems to enjoy thumping loudly on the bass. The sound coming through the ceiling is giving me a headache.

I have started pounding on the ceiling to get him to quiet down. It isn’t working. He keeps practicing.

I am afraid that next I’ll hear him clashing the cymbals. That will wake up the whole building!

Then all the neighbors will be knocking on his door complaining about the noise!
