Soon the fish and the other creatures of the sea began to swim around in the house. “I’m so sorry,” said the Ocean but the Sun said, “Think nothing of it, there is room for all.”

As the Ocean continued to pour into the house, the Sun and Moon were forced to rise higher and higher until at last they were up on the roof. “Tell me, Ocean,” the Sun called down, “Are you almost in?”

“I am only halfway in,” roared the Ocean. “You are so kind to invite me.” The Sun and the Moon knew it would be impolite to take back their invitation so they just rose higher into the sky. Their lovely home floated upside down in the water below.

And that is why the Sun and the Moon took up permanent residence in the Sky and found harmony with the Land and the Ocean. To this day, they still watch the Earth and the Ocean with interest, but they have never again touched the ground.
